The friends and family of Jerry Ghent are writing to request your help in a critical time of need for our son, husband, father and fellow Marine. Jerry is a proud Marine Corps veteran and resident of Lexington, NC. He had the honor of serving his country from 2003 to 2008 and he participated in the 2004 battle of Fallujah and the 2005 battle of Haditha. Jerry is now facing a battle of a different kind—one that he cannot fight alone.
Jerry recently suffered a severe injury to his cervical spine, and he is currently hospitalized, facing the possibility of paralysis. The road ahead is going to be long and difficult. Doctors have informed him that he will need several surgeries and will be in the hospital for at least the next twelve months. As a result, he is unable to work and provide for his family.
Jerry is a loving husband to his wife Ashley, and an extremely proud father to his daughter Grace, 17, and his son Trevor, 15. The kids are Jerry’s world, and his greatest concern during this difficult time is ensuring their well-being. While he may not be able to support them financially or physically right now, he is determined to do everything he can to make sure they are taken care of.
This is where we humbly ask for your help. Jerry’s family is in immediate need of financial support to cover living expenses and essential needs for Grace and Trevor during his recovery. Any donation, big or small, will make a world of difference in helping his children maintain some sense of normalcy while he fights to get better.
Your generosity will go towards:
- Daily living expenses for Grace and Trevor (food, clothing, school supplies)
- Household bills (mortgage, utilities)
- Any other unforeseen expenses that arise during his extended hospital stay
Jerry and his family are truly grateful for the support of their community, friends, and family during this challenging time. Your kindness will help ease their burden and give them the peace of mind to focus on recovery.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply keeping Jerry in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means more than words can express.
On behalf of Jerry, Ashley, Grace and Trevor,
