Base Access
Some events will be held aboard Camp Pendleton.
Please review the current Camp Pendleton Base Access page to ensure you have an ID that grants entry. If you hold a DoD ID and plan to bring additional visitors, refer to the “Trusted Traveler” section for guidelines.
Veterans with a VA Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC) may access the base only if their VHIC is marked “Service Connected” or “Purple Heart.” If this is your first time visiting Camp Pendleton with a VHIC, you must register your card at the Visitor Center before accessing the base. “VHIC holders are not authorized to sponsor visitors under Trusted Traveler or obtain a visitor pass for visitors.”
If you or any guests over 18 do not have an approved form of ID and intend on using a driver license or state ID, ensure it is REAL ID-compliant.
